The prices for apartments in Macedonia for 2007 has rised for approximately 13.8%, with approximate price for a property square meter  of  745 Euro.

With this figure, Macedonia is among ten countries with the greatest rise in the price for properties.

Macedonia is ranked as ninth worldwide for the increase in the real estate prices, after Bulgaria, Singapore, Russia, Poland, Honk Kong, Iceland, Canada and Croatia.

According to tha analysis of the British real estate consultant company Knigh Frank , the prices for properties for 2007 had the greatest  increase in Bulgaria with 33.7%.

Although, the NATO memership of Macedonia is postponed, the real estate market in Macedonia is expected to be on the same level, because there are still cheap construction land and workforce for building residental and commercial properties, which greatly increases the profit of the investors.

According to the analysis of th State statistical bureau, approximate price for a square meter of residental property for 2007 is 745 Euro (45.485 denars).  The price for a square meter is greter for Skopje and Ohrid, as more atractive, and was 782 Euro (47.859 denars). Compared with the 2006, the price has rised for 15.8%.

The prices for apartments are in constant rise. In the secod half of 2007, tha approximate price for a square meter or a real estate in Macedonia was  765 Euro (46.695 denars), which is a 5.7% increase compared with the first half of the same year (2007), and 16.8% increase compared with the approximate real estate price in 2006.
